How We Choose What to Highlight in Your Profile

A paid profile’s callout panels are a valuable opportunity to spotlight what sets a center apart.

These four short blurbs (55 words max each) appear after your long description—which already includes your overall approach, therapies, accommodations, and aftercare—so the panels are a chance to go deeper into specific strengths and specialties.

We focus each panel on a single, compelling idea that could move someone from “I’m curious” to “I want to learn more.” Here are 8 ways we do that…

1. Avoid Overlap with the Long Description

Since the long description already includes your approach, therapies, accommodations & amenities, and aftercare & alumni offerings, we use these panels to highlight elements not already covered, or to expand on briefly mentioned items that deserve more emphasis.

2. Explain How Family Is Involved

Many prospective patients and their loved ones want to know how family will be included. Whether through therapy, education, visits, or communication protocols, we can use a panel to give a sense of what to expect and why it matters.

3. Paint a Picture of Daily Life

What does a typical day or week look like? Sharing a paraphrased schedule or daily rhythm helps people imagine themselves in your care—and adds clarity around structure, balance, and pacing.

4. Highlight Unique Clientele

Whenever possible, we showcase a specific group(s) your center serves and wants to attract—such as teens, LGBTQ+ individuals, executives, veterans, or underserved communities. This helps prospective patients immediately understand how your center meets their needs in particular.

5. Spotlight Distinctive Treatments

If you offer evidence-based or innovative treatment methods that aren’t widely available—or that many people don’t yet know they need—we like to highlight them. This sets your program apart and supports informed decision-making.

6. Emphasize Specific Conditions or Addictions Treated

If you’re especially equipped to treat particular diagnoses, substance use disorders, or co-occurring conditions, we let that shine. The more clearly someone sees themselves in your care, the more likely they are to reach out.

7. Showcase Location-Based Experiences

If your program includes setting-specific elements—like hiking, beaches, or access to art and culture—we help people picture what life in and around your center feels like outside the therapist's office.

8. Share How You Track Treatment Outcomes

If you collect and share outcome data—and especially if your results are strong—highlighting that builds trust and positions your program as effective and transparent.
